Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aureliano Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Timoteo Basualdo replaced Inocencio Cristos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Francis was the one to do the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 86th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Elpidio Francis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
