In the 8th minute of the match Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy got a corner. Heavy Metal Pirates's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciccio Kowalczyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Blocks in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tristan Lannister could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Borys Patora however easily saved by the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Le Bonniec came free, but Borys Patora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Patora made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zbyszek Le Bonniec sent off a good shot on target. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Blocks in the 27th minute of play. Yannik Blocks might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaw Nowak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yannik Blocks ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik Blocks in the 31st minute of the match. Yannik Blocks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaw Nowak having to make a save. Gustaw Nowak came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Heavy Metal Pirates's Yannik Blocks. But to his dismay, Yannik Blocks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 40th minute Yannik Blocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Heavy Metal Pirates's goalkeeper Borys Patora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Lannister. 44 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Czerniejewski came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Wawrzyniec Domamir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy and the Heavy Metal Pirates players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Heavy Metal Pirates booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Domamir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Blocks in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Heavy Metal Pirates were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Tristan Lannister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Patora was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Juliusz Dyczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Dyczkowski got free with Gustaw Nowak in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wawrzyniec Domamir kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Gustaw Nowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Dyczkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heavy Metal Pirates:s goal. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tristan Lannister hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Iwo Drugi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaw Nowak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Borys Patora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Lannister in the 100th minute of play. The Heavy Metal Pirates players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
