The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1989 Blxsk's Eriberto Honesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save 1989 Blxsk from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Honesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taavet Rannik in the 7th minute. When FC Minerva Tallinn's Roland Muusik in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eriberto Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Muusik, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Roland Muusik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eriberto Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Muusik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Muusik scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Honesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Honesto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Muusik's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. FC Minerva Tallinn's Vahur Aav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 31st minute of play. Roland Muusik struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Eriberto Honesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Minerva Tallinn. 38 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Muusik came free, but Eriberto Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Frântu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when FC Minerva Tallinn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Frântu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Roland Muusik sped through 1989 Blxsk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Honesto. But to his dismay, Roland Muusik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Minerva Tallinn's zone, Miguel Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahur Aav came out of the goal and Miguel Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
