Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Hudák started the match with the kick off. Rickard Joensson got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Karl-Ove Lägdin. Arvid Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Erik Vihonský sent off a good shot on target. William Falk's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Falk helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in IKS Norrköping fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! IKS Norrköping:s Arvid Sandberg showed great skill when he stopped Michal Hudák:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Hudák in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Sandberg saved IKS Norrköping from getting behind. Erik Vihonský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Arvid Sandberg made a huge save. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Kiempe in the 23rd minute of play. Erik Vihonský kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Ekeberg in the 28th minute of the match. Adam Hrdina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Hudák took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvid Sandberg. Arvid Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Rickard Joensson in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFK Petržalka's Dávid Hancko. In the 43rd match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Hancko to maneuver through the defense. Dušan Ferenčík took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arvid Sandberg. IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adam Hrdina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Ekeberg was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Vihonský in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Sandberg saved IKS Norrköping from getting behind. In the 55th minute Erik Vihonský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Erik Vihonský notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of IKS Norrköping's Arvid Sandberg. Arvid Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Kiempe got free with Adam Hrdina in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Vihonský struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arvid Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. Erik Vihonský's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arvid Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The corner led AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák to fire away a dangerous shot which Arvid Sandberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Erik Vihonský ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvid Sandberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 91 minutes into the game, Lars Sörman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Hrdina. Lars Sörman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 95th minute, Erik Vihonský got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AFK Petržalka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
