In the 9th minute, Gustavo Gomez Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torbjörn Hellsing showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After 13 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Freire. Alfa FC's Gerald Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Alfa FC from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Gomez Blanco's late challenge caught a Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Gomez Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. André Velasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerald Buffon. Alfa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Asdrubal Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Gerald Buffon managed to make a qualified save. Alfa FC's players were relieved. Torbjörn Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Gerald Buffon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guilherme Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Aparecido in the 22nd minute of the match. Guilherme Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Valerón in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Aparecido came free, but Guilherme Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Dráuzio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerald Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Hellsing in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alfa FC defense, Torbjörn Hellsing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerald Buffon. The Alfa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerald Buffon should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Alfa FC's zone, Asdrubal Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Buffon came out of the goal and Asdrubal Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano de Amorim. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dede Guci got free with Gerald Buffon in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Velasco in the 46th minute. After taking down the ball on Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s corner André Velasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerald Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Asdrubal Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gerald Buffon made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Hellsing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Asdrubal Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthos Manuela F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Asdrubal Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerald Buffon was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Asdrubal Fernandes came free, but Gerald Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asdrubal Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gerald Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerald Buffon came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Asdrubal Fernandes. But to his dismay, Asdrubal Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Asdrubal Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alfa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corinthos Manuela F.C..
