Carioca 【CIMZ】:s goal. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Hernani Veloso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gerald Buffon. In the 12th minute, Jari Jaakkola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfa FC's goalkeeper Gerald Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giuseppe Marques took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerald Buffon. Gerald Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Gabriel Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Gabriel Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. When A. A. Hernani Veloso was slow to take the kick. During this time A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Giuseppe Marques getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luís de Souza in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerald Buffon saved Alfa FC from getting behind. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gabriel Figueiredo hit a great ball. Sílvio Luís de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald Buffon stood somewhat misplaced when Sílvio Luís de Souza came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. Sílvio Luís de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gerald Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Casper Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. A. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís de Souza in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerald Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Passos during the 56th minute. Alfa FC's Gerald Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís de Souza in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sílvio Luís de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Gerald Buffon. Alfa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0.
