Vladimiro Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Pello made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gonzalo Frejaskov sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lorenzo Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arias Coz in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lorenzo Pello got control of the ball when Arias Coz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chus Campon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Frejaskov was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Theobald hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Vladimiro Theobald got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 61 minutes of play A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Vladimiro Theobald was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to A.D Atlético Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carlo Imperiale hit a great ball. Gabriel Heinze struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lorenzo Pello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC. In the 71st minute of the match, Lucas Alario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Cardozo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prudencio Gregory in the 72nd minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Maxi Araujo replaced Gonzalo Frejaskov. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prudencio Gregory was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's players had a chance to rest. 76 minutes into the game, Juan Melendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D Atlético Villa Gesell the free kick. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC! Rioja Soberon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lorenzo Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arias Coz in the 80th minute of play. When Lucas Alario came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Alario couldn't finish the play. Maxi Araujo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Pello. Lorenzo Pello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lorenzo Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Araujo in the 97th minute of play. Rioja Soberon kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match.
