In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Freddie de Nooijer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Sule in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Turgay Hafi came free, but Freddie de Nooijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Ciro Nerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macedonio Fonticoba in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Nerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vampiros Aztecas's Freddie de Nooijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgay Hafi in the 58th minute of play. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Turgay Hafi came free, but Freddie de Nooijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddie de Nooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgay Hafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turgay Hafi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
