With a little luck, CORSARIO's Mendoza Vall got control of the ball when Aras Görkem Kaymaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Nicolas Balsemão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, CORSARIO's goalkeeper Mendoza Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Viegas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Viegas in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mendoza Vall saved CORSARIO from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match, Adalberto Viegas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mendoza Vall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the MZ Fénix defense, Dacian Groșan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás Tauber. The MZ Fénix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás Tauber should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Nicolas Balsemão got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Adalberto Viegas made the kick off in the second half. If Adalberto Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute.
