Aybars Cihannur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Urki Miras. 26 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Puskás came free, but Xan Descapa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nimród Tálas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xan Descapa. Xan Descapa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aybars Cihannur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Björnsson in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Loredo got free with Aybars Cihannur in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Vérsárkány SE booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipo Inzaghi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Puskás was the one to do the kick off. Vérsárkány SE's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urki Miras in the 54th minute of play. Albert Puskás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xan Descapa came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Puskás slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Vérsárkány SE's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urki Miras in the 58th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ornopata reached it. In the 94th minute Joaquin Loredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Cihannur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vérsárkány SE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vérsárkány SE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
