The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Regental's Valentino Taibo got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, FC Regental's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Azevedo came free, but Johnny Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Tomé Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Svensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A hard shot 11 in the game by Norbert Arbogast from a close distance when the talented Johnny Svensson managed to make a qualified save. FC Regental's players were relieved. The supporters of FC Regental booed when BiBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juancho Bonachea didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Regental's Johnny Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Arbogast in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Regental's Tobias Hansen got a free kick in the 18th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Johnny Svensson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Juancho Bonachea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johnny Svensson came out and tried to block the shot, but Juancho Bonachea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Juancho Bonachea got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of FC Regental booed when BiBa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfirio Filare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanick Wils hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Valentino Taibo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Regental's Johnny Svensson got control of the ball when Norbert Arbogast tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johnny Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. Norbert Arbogast's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Johnny Svensson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Regental's Johnny Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Regental from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, BiBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfirio Filare to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Svensson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Albert Sperlich made the kick off in the second half. Johnny Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juancho Bonachea in the 56th minute of the match. Tomé Azevedo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Svensson. Johnny Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Johnny Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Azevedo in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Regental defense, Tomé Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Svensson. The FC Regental fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Svensson should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Regental getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tobias Hansen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flemming Joanesarson in the 70th minute of play forced FC Regental's goalkeeper Johnny Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Regental getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Perry Kasseckert hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Juancho Bonachea made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Svensson. FC Regental's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. BiBa's Kai-Uwe Bartek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Kliemt in the 83rd minute of play. Johnny Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juancho Bonachea in the 84th minute of the match. Michael Kohn kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Arbogast in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Svensson saved FC Regental from getting behind. Palle Rösele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai-Uwe Bartek having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Norbert Arbogast managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BiBa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Arbogast was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BiBa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
