Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobromir Piechocki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. EL Ciulos Lamos's Cezary Dres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 13th minute of play. Amanda van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Michalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amanda van der Sar came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by EL Ciulos Lamos's Dobromir Piechocki. But to his dismay, Dobromir Piechocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Piechocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amanda van der Sar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Fausto Cresencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formentera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL Ciulos Lamos the free kick. After 39 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Cresencio. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Piechocki in the 40th minute of play. Formentera's Domingos Lano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomasz Aks in the 43 minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dobromir Piechocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Piechocki in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Piechocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amanda van der Sar was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Giles Verbeke made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EL Ciulos Lamos's Tomasz Aks. In the 67th minute, Lucjan Michalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL Ciulos Lamos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 71st minute Dobromir Piechocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amanda van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Piechocki in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Verbeke to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Dres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Estevez in the 89th minute of play forced EL Ciulos Lamos's goalkeeper Cezary Dres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, EL Ciulos Lamos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Furlit to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Formentera booed when EL Ciulos Lamos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Absolwent didn't get a good kick on the ball.
