In the 2nd minute, Lucrețiu Cuculeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 played minutes, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Mieszko Bartelak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pogoń Stawiszyn reached it. In the 8th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Baal Ares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Pogoń Stawiszyn booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Cuculeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Zagrodny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Chiriac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Pilipiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Luca Jivulescu made a huge save. Zdzislaw Zagrodny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 24th minute of the match. If Baal Ares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mugur Chiriac scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zdzislaw Zagrodny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zagrodny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Ares FC -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ares FC -MM-'s Mugur Chiriac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Augusto Maciel made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karadeniz Otay. Zdzislaw Zagrodny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 35th minute of play. Zdzislaw Zagrodny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Chiriac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Pilipiec was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Silviu Dumitrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silviu Dumitrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zdzislaw Zagrodny. That made the score 0-4 after 63 minutes of play. In the 67th minute Grzegorz Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny got control of the ball when Silviu Dumitrana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Radoslaw Trojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Baal Ares made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. Baal Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zdzislaw Zagrodny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Silviu Dumitrana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Karadeniz Otay was slow to take the kick. During this time Ares FC -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Dumitrana in the 96th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zagrodny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
