RIVER's Fidel Gora was substituted for Marco Rudolfo. 87 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Illescas came free, but Marcial Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Roig in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Lordi saved RIVER from getting behind. Marcelino Raposo got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Isaac Nuxila. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RIVER eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
