In the 11th match minute, Legacy Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Oblak having to interfere. Tomás Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ján Oblak having to make a save. Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ján Oblak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Beltran went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 33 played minutes Legacy Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Gonsalve. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 36th minute of play. Ubaldo Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ján Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ján Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Beltran's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 46th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Potter to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Song Wei Yun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Guang Ming in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Legacy Youth Academy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alfredo Mino hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Adam Jansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gavino Belarmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute Liu Guang Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Neil Degabriele went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Seraċini Għawdxin's Neil Degabriele to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Belarmo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Legacy Youth Academy's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Pirlo in the 73rd minute of play. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Guang Ming in the 76th minute of play. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Neil Degabriele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Legacy Youth Academy's Liu Guang Ming ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ján Oblak. Ján Oblak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Adam Jansson hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Andrea Pirlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Pirlo in the 96th minute of the match. Legacy Youth Academy's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jansson in the 98th minute of play. With a little luck, Seraċini Għawdxin's Ján Oblak got control of the ball when Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Seraċini Għawdxin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Legacy Youth Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Legacy Youth Academy.
