Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Nieuzyla in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Lawson in the 26th minute of play forced Srebrny Grom DK's goalkeeper Miroslaw Setara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Srebrny Grom DK's Piotr Major made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogumil Nieuzyla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wally Lawson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslaw Setara saved Srebrny Grom DK from getting behind. Benedykt Bazan charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedykt Bazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Srebrny Grom DK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Bazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Eger in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Setara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Montesclarense E.C.'s Paulão Medeiros in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juvenal Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslaw Setara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Marcos Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Miroslaw Setara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida got control of the ball when Bogumil Nieuzyla tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Montesclarense E.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
