In the 3rd minute, Gregorio Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Macedonia's Spase Kastrati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Montez in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Hungary's Gregorio Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spase Kastrati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, Hungary's Álmos Koós made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Spase Kastrati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnold Szuper came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Macedonia's Ramadan Hristov. But to his dismay, Ramadan Hristov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gregorio Montez took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Spase Kastrati. Spase Kastrati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 22nd minute, Gregorio Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ramadan Hristov notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hungary's Arnold Szuper. Arnold Szuper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramadan Hristov in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deljan Nastevski in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Hungary from getting behind. After 34 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vidoe Gegovski who took care of the corner kick. Hungary's Sebestyén Soós managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baškim Sumulikovski in the 39 minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Gregorio Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hungary's Gregorio Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramadan Hristov in the 43rd minute of play. Gregorio Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Macedonia's Diljan Dzaferi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
The wind increased when Gregorio Montez made the kick off in the second half. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gregorio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spase Kastrati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 59th minute of play. Áron Bódog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spase Kastrati having to interfere. Hungary made a substitution. László Gácsi replaced Gregorio Montez. Macedonia made a substitution. Artan Topalovski replaced Trpe Salihu. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hungary's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deljan Nastevski in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Macedonia's Arnold Szuper threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diljan Dzaferi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. László Gácsi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Spase Kastrati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Macedonia's Vuk Urgovski was substituted for Ramadan Hristov. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidoe Gegovski in the 73rd minute of the match. Arnold Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vuk Urgovski in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Deljan Nastevski came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Diljan Dzaferi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macedonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Diljan Dzaferi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Szuper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes of play, Hungary's László Gácsi made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Spase Kastrati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diljan Dzaferi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, László Gácsi notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Macedonia's Spase Kastrati. Spase Kastrati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hungary were victorious despite being under pressure from Macedonia for much of the match.
