The tension between the MORPH and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Horhoianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Horhoianu saved Purcaresti CSS from getting behind. Ferdinand Horhoianu came out of the goal and Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Amurăriței in the 46th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valeriu Amurăriței made a kick off. Purcaresti CSS's Eusebiu Stancu got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Eusebiu Stancu off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Stancu to maneuver through the defense.
