The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Jougla got free with Amanda van der Sar in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amanda van der Sar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florent Sorlin went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Estevez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Levet in the 55th minute of play. Teo Esiquio scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amanda van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Toupin in the 59th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Amanda van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Levet in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florent Sorlin in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amanda van der Sar saved Formentera from getting behind. After 67 minutes of play, Fc Kertzfeld's Anthony Jougla made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amanda van der Sar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anthony Jougla's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Jougla helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Anthony Jougla got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 81st match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Chus to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Jonas Micheau notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Formentera's Amanda van der Sar. Amanda van der Sar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
