The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Vergaray got free with Tjark Ernst in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Tjark Ernst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Vergaray. Gogo Vergaray made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tjark Ernst would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Gogo Vergaray slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tjark Ernst. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. John Wick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tjark Ernst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Damian Noe fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s protests and gave Damian Noe a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. got a freekick which was hit by Damian Noe. When Semjon Schapiro fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some careless play in the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. defense, Mathieu Tippelt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Ortle. The Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Ortle should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mathieu Tippelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cecilio Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hertha 1969's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
