Iwan Trzemzalski kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Mariusz Danisiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Nicanor Gaufred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNITED GWAREK's Mariusz Danisiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Julian Birila fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Julian Birila a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Julian Birila got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Dombrowski came free, but Teofilo Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Grzegorz Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Jimeno Eutor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariusz Danisiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Franciszek Rukszcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Dombrowski hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Grzegorz Podolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Federigo having to interfere. Julian Birila hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, UNITED GWAREK's Iwan Trzemzalski got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Iwan Trzemzalski was in a good position and ended up with the ball after UNITED GWAREK's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Mariusz Danisiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to UNITED GWAREK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Franciszek Rukszcz hit a great ball. Mariusz Danisiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Gaufred went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bogumil Dombrowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teofilo Federigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Bogumil Dombrowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogumil Dombrowski to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Eutor could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Mariusz Danisiewicz however easily saved by the left post. UNITED GWAREK's Iwan Trzemzalski got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to UNITED GWAREK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tomasz Merski hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Bogumil Dombrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNITED GWAREK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogumil Dombrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UNITED GWAREK's Iwan Trzemzalski got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jacinto Mino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 71st playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Grzegorz Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNITED GWAREK's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Podolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bogumil Dombrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84th play minutes Bogumil Dombrowski shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Teofilo Federigo and just under the crossbar into goal. Teofilo Federigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Grzegorz Podolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
