Simão Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Drapinski went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Braga came free, but Witold Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s zone, Igor Drapinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Cunha came out of the goal and Igor Drapinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Mitus in the 17th minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Braga in the 19th minute of play forced Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Witold Hryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Igor Drapinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Simão Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Witold Hryc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anderson Valladares in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Braga in the 29th minute of play forced Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's goalkeeper Witold Hryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Jerzy Teofila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simão Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wicher Wilchwy Come Back reached it. Igor Drapinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Cunha having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Mitus came free, but Simão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ booed when Wicher Wilchwy Come Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Lewicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jerzy Teofila came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Wicher Wilchwy Come Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Teofila couldn't finish the play. After the first half Wicher Wilchwy Come Back were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Drapinski made a kick off. Witold Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Braga in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Wicher Wilchwy Come Back booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witold Hryc came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Gilvan Vargas. But to his dismay, Gilvan Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 65th minute Luisinho Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Drapinski in the 68th minute. Sylwester Niziolek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. If Franciszek Mitus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Franciszek Mitus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Benedito Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
