Thanks to some nice moves Jacek Kazimierz could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Napoleon Jajko however easily saved by the left post. Lech Latkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Palacio in the 36th minute of play. Lech Latkiewicz came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio. But to his dismay, Mateo Palacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 40th minute of the match, Marek Sagan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Napoleon Jajko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd minute of the match Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a corner. Zjem Cię's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Poreda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bogdan Poreda made a great header on Legia Warszawa 【L】's corner, it was just that Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Palacio in the 43rd minute of play forced Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Lech Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Budzynski. If Mateo Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. In the 78th minute, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mateo Palacio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mateo Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lech Latkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
