In the 10th minute, Ignacio Mendiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Menjivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Salvador Menjivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ISAÍAS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Remo Sá hit a great ball. The supporters of ISAÍAS booed when SantaAna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Cerna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Menjivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Félix Suarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Luizão Alves however easily saved by the left post. After 36 played minutes ISAÍAS got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Castro. After 43 minutes, Fabio Castro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SantaAna's Salvador Menjivar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half ISAÍAS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ISAÍAS's Luizão Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Reyes in the 54th minute of play. Ignacio Mendiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Salvador Menjivar made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mendiko in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Menjivar saved SantaAna from getting behind. A collision led to SantaAna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Holger Arhenius hit a great ball. In the 69th play minute Ignacio Mendiko came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Salvador Menjivar. 0-4. After a rather tough play, ISAÍAS's Fabio Castro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ignacio Mendiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Salvador Menjivar made a huge save. SantaAna's Salvador Menjivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Castro in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Fabio Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ISAÍAS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ignacio Mendiko hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Ignacio Mendiko made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Menjivar. SantaAna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Salvador Menjivar made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ignacio Mendiko sent off a good shot on target.
