Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saturnino Soter kicked off to start the match. Mugurel Godeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Karlsson went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Champions Iasi's Mugurel Godeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Eduino in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Sebastian Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daviana Sport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Godeanu having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Daviana Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Tulio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Daviana Sport's Denis Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 24th minute. Roque Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daviana Sport's Aquilino Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Grădinaru in the 31st minute of play. The Champions Iasi fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Champions Iasi's Ionică Grădinaru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ionică Grădinaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Champions Iasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Grădinaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Orlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radu Siniştean hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Daviana Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Grădinaru came free, but Aquilino Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Ionică Grădinaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Orlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Grădinaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Daviana Sport got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Eduino.

The wind increased when Ionică Grădinaru made the kick off in the second half. Mugurel Godeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Soter in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Daviana Sport's Aquilino Orlo got control of the ball when Ionică Grădinaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Champions Iasi's Ionică Grădinaru got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Mercescu. If Răzvan Postolache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Orlo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ionică Grădinaru sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Aquilino Orlo managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Champions Iasi's Ionică Grădinaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Mercescu. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Mădălin Geamănu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Mugurel Godeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Soter in the 83rd minute of play. Champions Iasi's Ionică Grădinaru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
