After 4 played minutes Pichuleitors FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Ancieta. Lolo Cares made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Hernando De la Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Geofredo Arciego might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Archibaldo Unzueta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geofredo Arciego ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Pichuleitors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quique Bacete came free, but Lolo Cares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lolo Guerola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubén Lacorte came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lolo Cares could save by the left post. The corner led VALPICA C.F.'s Hernando De la Rosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Lolo Cares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Pichuleitors FC's Lolo Cares got control of the ball when Rubén Lacorte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geofredo Arciego charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geofredo Arciego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pichuleitors FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Geofredo Arciego hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubén Lacorte got free with Lolo Cares in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Bacete in the 37th minute of play forced Pichuleitors FC's goalkeeper Lolo Cares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubén Lacorte was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pichuleitors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernando De la Rosa came free, but Lolo Cares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Rubén Lacorte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lolo Cares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pichuleitors FC's Lolo Cares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bizen Vuelta in the 57th minute of play. Quique Bacete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lolo Cares having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in VALPICA C.F.'s zone, Lolo Guerola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archibaldo Unzueta came out of the goal and Lolo Guerola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lolo Guerola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Pichuleitors FC's David Israel Vodanovic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After some careless play in the Pichuleitors FC defense, Rubén Lacorte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lolo Cares. The Pichuleitors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lolo Cares should have stopped the shot. Lolo Cares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garcilaso Crespo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Arrosko Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Lacorte in the 90th minute of play forced Pichuleitors FC's goalkeeper Lolo Cares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VALPICA C.F.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
