In the 21st minute of the match, Filip Örtlund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leif Ahlroht saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 23 minutes into the game, Jonstorp FK's Lars Rosén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Ahlroht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Leif Ahlroht as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd minute Lars Rosén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Rosén got free with Leif Ahlroht in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Karlsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Hornstull IK got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Karlsson. Leif Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Lars Rosén sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
