Lucas Guillen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rolando Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's protests and gave Rolando Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Amanda van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ. Hermengildo Jorrin's late challenge caught a CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Jorrin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute Lucas Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amanda van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Fausto Cresencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Timoteo Hug hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Amanda van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Shepherd. With 18 minutes on the clock, Jorge Arnau commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Amanda van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gavino Benvide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Estevez in the 39th minute of play forced CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Erubiel Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Blas Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Amador Modestio. Sixto Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amanda van der Sar having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Estevez made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's zone, Blas Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Frans came out of the goal and Blas Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Formentera's Blas Estevez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Formentera's Blas Estevez in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalie prevented a goal. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Gaspar Refugio was substituted for Lucas Guillen. Formentera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gavino Benvide in the 72nd minute. Domingos Xacintu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Erubiel Frans. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Higinio Efren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Erubiel Frans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Rolando Shepherd made a precise shot to the right of Amanda van der Sar. Formentera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formentera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
