In the 12th minute of the match Dino Mandrak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Oliveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yuri Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruy Oliveira having to make a save. Yuri Mello's late challenge caught a Papunhas EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Mello helped the player get up and apologised. Yuri Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Aguias Ferozes F.C. booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan de Moraes in the 24th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gabriel Fernandez hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dino Mandrak got in the 36th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ruy Oliveira. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. Alan de Moraes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Paulo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papunhas EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeca Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Queiroz made a huge save. The referee ignored Papunhas EC's protests and gave João Carlos Negri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, João Carlos Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aguias Ferozes F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
