Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vennancio Albarez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eliodor Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Esteban Tosantos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Tosantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Isăceanu in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Eliodor Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Tosantos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's Xaver Pidrola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radu Domide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Tosantos was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Lucian Dănciulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paul Isăceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteban Tosantos came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul Isăceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Dănciulescu in the 90th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Esteban Tosantos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Tosantos was a little too slow when Paul Isăceanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-9.
