To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, Pakorro AFC's Ubaldo Lorien made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Toro Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Frutos during the 27th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Murillo to make the kick off. The supporters of Pakorro AFC booed when ZeRoCooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. León Murillo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Generoso Hanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pakorro AFC. Tom Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Vinicio Frutos was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Hanni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Raebert in the 91st minute of play forced ZeRoCooL's goalkeeper Generoso Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
