Gombal Retana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Javiero Menendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santikurtz Paza's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner. Godfredo Estramiana went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Borussia Dortmund's Godfredo Estramiana to fire away a dangerous shot which Axel Mellberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Santikurtz Paza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beliran Serna hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The long shot by Johannes Biörnberg in the 23rd minute really tested Gombal Retana's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santikurtz Paza in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Mellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after FC Snipers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godfredo Estramiana took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Godfredo Estramiana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axel Mellberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Santikurtz Paza sped through FC Snipers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Axel Mellberg. Beliran Serna hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. FC Snipers's Johannes Biörnberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gombal Retana but with some difficulty. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santikurtz Paza in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santikurtz Paza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Siöman in the 51st minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Gombal Retana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sanson Querijazu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Anton Siöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Menendez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Henrique Lampez got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Santikurtz Paza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santikurtz Paza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Menendez. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Henrique Lampez hit a great ball. Axel Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santikurtz Paza's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Axel Mellberg had great luck who in the 95thth minute grab hold of the ball when Santikurtz Paza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Snipers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
