Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anđelo Đuran in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Fajteri's Maximilian Stražišar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vojkan Lapuh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Fajteri booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Nye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Finman to maneuver through the defense.

The goal made the score 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Per Västerstrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vojkan Lapuh. Fajteri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Västerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5.
