Cash Is King's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Hamberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cash Is King defense, Aílton Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Widberg. The Cash Is King fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Widberg should have stopped the shot. Allan Björkkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Brian Öberg with Allan Björkkvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 30 minutes into the game, Aílton Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zandarin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cash Is King the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Holmberg during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cash Is King's Vilhelm Widberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Amorim in the 33rd minute of play. Vilhelm Widberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Zandarin FC were awarded a corner. Aílton Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vilhelm Widberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Widberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 47 played minutes Cash Is King got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Säf. After the first half Zandarin FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Neves made a kick off. 57 minutes in the game Hans Falkrantz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Allan Björkkvist. In the 58th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes, Cash Is King's Michael Sjöberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedrinho Severo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cash Is King reached it. In the 64th minute Pär Vibjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Björkkvist in the 69th minute of play. Pedrinho Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Vinström in the 70th minute of the match. Cash Is King were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
