Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Codruț Petran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tytus Ranowiecki's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When Emanuel Şelaru fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Tariverde's protests and gave Emanuel Şelaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Emanuel Şelaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Aluneanu. UFC Tariverde's Codruț Petran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Majkowski in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Encuțoiu. After some careless play in the UFC Tariverde defense, Tytus Ranowiecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Petran. The UFC Tariverde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Petran should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Tytus Ranowiecki notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of UFC Tariverde's Codruț Petran. Codruț Petran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codruț Petran came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by AKS Chorzów's Aureliusz Majkowski. But to his dismay, Aureliusz Majkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 30th minute, Tytus Ranowiecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codruț Petran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. A collision led to UFC Tariverde getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bogdan Aluneanu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AKS Chorzów's zone, Emanuel Şelaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Fafinski came out of the goal and Emanuel Şelaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the UFC Tariverde defense, Tytus Ranowiecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Petran. The UFC Tariverde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Petran should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Ranowiecki to make the kick off. Codruț Petran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tytus Ranowiecki's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Tytus Ranowiecki might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codruț Petran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tytus Ranowiecki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Aureliusz Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Petran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Tytus Ranowiecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, AKS Chorzów's Tytus Ranowiecki made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Petran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Petruț Dragotescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC Tariverde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. 72 minutes into the match, Tytus Ranowiecki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Petran. UFC Tariverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tytus Ranowiecki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. 75 minutes into the game, AKS Chorzów's Tytus Ranowiecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Petran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 82 minutes into the game, Tytus Ranowiecki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codruț Petran. Tytus Ranowiecki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-11. Tytus Ranowiecki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tytus Ranowiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codruț Petran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. AKS Chorzów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
