The audience thought a goal was coming when Lei Ning got free with Jamel Ivy in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Universitatea7 Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Ewan Rieu came free, but Jamel Ivy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Skytta Toppidrettslag got a corner. Universitatea7 Cluj's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cecilio Txaran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Universitatea7 Cluj's supporters rose to their feet, but Ding Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ren Bur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Blade Coote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a rather tough play, Skytta Toppidrettslag's Ewan Rieu got a free kick in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ding Mata in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ren Bur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Ren Bur throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ding Mata in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ren Bur was a little too slow when Wendell Rooney got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 3-1. Universitatea7 Cluj's Jamel Ivy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oddvar Nordhus in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Universitatea7 Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Idar Reistad came free, but Jamel Ivy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Idar Reistad struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jamel Ivy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Skytta Toppidrettslag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ewan Rieu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Universitatea7 Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ding Mata to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, Skytta Toppidrettslag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasiliy Esenin to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ren Bur having to make a save.
