The audience was convinced that Sebastián Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glenn Fyfe was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Kapinos in the 12th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Ekskluzywni menele were awarded a corner. Jean Dantas went to the cornerflag to take it. 24 minutes into the match, Ekskluzywni menele's Sebastián Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glenn Fyfe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Witold Bury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenn Fyfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Iulian Berceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iulian Berceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zbigniew Brudzisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Dantas in the 39th minute of play. Zbigniew Brudzisz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Löfgren in the 40th minute. Cătălin Răduleț hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Jean Dantas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glenn Fyfe skillfully saved the ball. After 43 played minutes Ekskluzywni menele got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Jajesniak. After a defensive mix-up in Ekskluzywni menele's zone, James Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Brudzisz came out of the goal and James Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glenn Fyfe. Sebastián Villa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Löfgren in the 62nd minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Zbigniew Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbigniew Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Berceanu in the 64th minute of the match. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Witold Bury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Bury kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner. Marcin Pachucki went to the cornerflag to take it. Glenn Fyfe made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ola Stachura sent off a good shot on target. Flavius Cândroveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Hong Le in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Stachura. Zbigniew Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Busuioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Berceanu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The A4p FC Gad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ekskluzywni menele's performance. The match ended with a win for Ekskluzywni menele.
