A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 10th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Fyfe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovanildo Luis's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Haji Sarap was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and James Batistuta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. James Batistuta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Nascimento. Haji Sarap made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Marcin Pachucki sent off a good shot on target. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute, Ronaldinho Gaucho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glenn Fyfe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 33rd minute James Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanildo Luis in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Fyfe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Francisco Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. James Batistuta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haji Sarap came out and tried to block the shot, but James Batistuta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when James Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. James Batistuta took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Löfgren came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, James Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Cássio de Andrade replaced João Francisco Arce. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Flavius Cândroveanu replaced Daniel Löfgren. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Giovanni Sousa was substituted for Geovanildo Luis. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 67th minute of play. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Horácio Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Glenn Fyfe made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Horácio Abraão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glenn Fyfe. Horácio Abraão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungurhan Kuter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Giovanni Sousa took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4.
