In the 15th minute, Yannick Bartz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Abad was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Joacim Hansson made a great header on Kind of Blue's corner, it was just that Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad managed to reach the ball for a save. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. David Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Luan Pombo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilhelm Galle. Wilhelm Galle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Su Jian Jie was substituted for Hu Ling Zhen. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Cássio Lopes replaced Liu Kun Zhen. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A sloppy throw-in by Xu Yong Feng in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues. After 79 played minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Mattæus Landsiggaard. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 86th minute of play. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Soyuer in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Galle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kind of Blue had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
