Calixto Inchaurdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Furtado Riofrio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Dale Dolar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 24th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Calixto Inchaurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Furtado Riofrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Dolar. 27 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Furtado Riofrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blasi Asas got free with Furtado Riofrio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Albert Camus went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute of the game Bard Bom made a throw-in which Dale Dolar played forward. Calixto Inchaurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furtado Riofrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blasi Asas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Furtado Riofrio made a huge save. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bard Bom hit a great ball. Furtado Riofrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blasi Asas was the one to do the kick off. Hayalim Kedoshim's Furtado Riofrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blasi Asas in the 55th minute of play. Furtado Riofrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Pradias in the 70th minute of the match. Mika Garon struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Calixto Inchaurdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayalim Kedoshim. 74 minutes into the match, Jorrin Briones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Furtado Riofrio. Hayalim Kedoshim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorrin Briones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Espiridion Durazno kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Calixto Inchaurdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mika Garon. Jorrin Briones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furtado Riofrio having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Hayalim Kedoshim's Calixto Inchaurdi threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kåre Rosendal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hanni Godines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Calixto Inchaurdi made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Hanni Godines took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Calixto Inchaurdi to make any attempt to save it. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
