Gerardo Hitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Alberto Simões having to make a save. Gerardo Hitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plan B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Gerardo Hitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plan B's Carlos Alberto Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gerardo Hitz sped through Plan B's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Simões. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ritchie Obis in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Simões saved Plan B from getting behind. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho De Assis Moreira in the 44th minute. Carlos Alberto Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Hitz's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Black Rose 1979's Alejandro Silban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 88th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Vase in the 91st minute of play. 1-5 became the score in the 97th minute when Gerardo Hitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Black Rose 1979 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
