John Fredriksson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ionuț Agusoaei firmly grabbed it by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Tanner came free, but Nestor Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Balavanis got a corner. TalleresUnited's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionică Cucu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Şoiman came free, but Nestor Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, TalleresUnited's Jesus Egun made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Agusoaei was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Balavanis's Grigore Şoiman in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TalleresUnited's goalie prevented a goal. Balavanis's Ionuț Agusoaei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Balavanis from getting a goal against them. Ionuț Agusoaei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Egun in the 36th minute of play. Nestor Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Şoiman in the 38th minute of the match. TalleresUnited made a substitution. Jesus Casado replaced Jesus Egun. 41 minutes in the game Álvaro Velloso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Avram Barascu. After a rather tough play, Balavanis's Avram Barascu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes TalleresUnited got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Jaunti. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Casado made a kick off. In the 64th minute Jesus Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Agusoaei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Nestor Firmin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Grigore Şoiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nestor Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balavanis's Ferdinand Costa was substituted for Grigore Şoiman. Balavanis's Dragoş Domide was substituted for Mihnea Gorgan. Jesus Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionuț Agusoaei having to make a save. Joaquin Jaunti hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TalleresUnited's Nicolás Marichal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Codrin Donciu got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valer Văidianu. The supporters of TalleresUnited booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Tanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Velloso made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valer Văidianu immediately put the ball in play. Balavanis's Alf Tanner suffered a concussion in the 95th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Nicolás Marichal's late challenge caught a Balavanis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolás Marichal helped the player get up and apologised. Balavanis made a substitution. Gheorghe Basarab replaced Alf Tanner. Nestor Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Văidianu in the 97th minute of the match.
