In the 18th minute Radomir Marczyniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Natanael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cirilo Arlo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Arlo couldn't finish the play. Mohieddine Ayari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Gelacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Viento Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Silvanito. Dalmacio Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohieddine Ayari in the 28th minute of play. Silvestre Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Marczyniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Bogătan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sugar in the 34th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Silvestre Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Juliano Macena came free, but Silvestre Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juliano Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Natanael having to interfere. Mohieddine Ayari kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohieddine Ayari was the one to do the kick off. Dalmacio Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Arlo in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when Viento Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Bogătan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Vinicio Silvanito fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viento Norte FC's protests and gave Vinicio Silvanito a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Cirilo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
