The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Cridas FC's goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfried Teunens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 13th minute of play forced Cridas FC's goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cridas FC's Claudio Marangoni got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Maximus Ayuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerónimo Rulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 25th minute of play. La Bichineta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Poncio Justo in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Poncio Justo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cridas FC's Gerónimo Rulli did a great save. Humberto Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gerónimo Rulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 38th minute of play. When Teofilo Garrote fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cridas FC's protests and gave Teofilo Garrote a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Cridas FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Garrote. La Bichineta's Poncio Justo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gerónimo Rulli but with some difficulty. The supporters of Cridas FC booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfried Teunens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With an all-out effort, Cridas FC's Humberto Salomone threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gualterio Libertad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lucio Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cridas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Baba Yazar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cridas FC's Gerónimo Rulli. Gerónimo Rulli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Soin got free with Humberto Salomone in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute La Bichineta were awarded a corner. Poncio Justo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Libertad in the 74th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Humberto Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerónimo Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Yazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baba Yazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerónimo Rulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Yazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Adriano Ballerini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerónimo Rulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baba Yazar in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cridas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Bichineta.
