Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Genovesi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Caretti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Comunardo Caretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 66th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Gabriele Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Broom of the System DA13's Comunardo Caretti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 70th minute of play forced Broom of the System DA13's goalkeeper Comunardo Caretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Broom of the System DA13 made a substitution. Waldemar Gdowski replaced Prospero Florin. Claudio Guida got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Calistrat Negoescu. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Comunardo Caretti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 89th minute Waldemar Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Siro Osasun got a free kick in the 94th minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Silverio Sergi replaced Siro Osasun. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. In the 96th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Osasun to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Genovesi came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Broom of the System DA13 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
