Daniel Hök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulryk Miazga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama got control of the ball when Gunnar Sundling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Miazga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Hök prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes Pajala Sunrise's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlo Rapone who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga in the 27th minute of play. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Hök should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulryk Miazga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Aleksander Birkenhagen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Gunnar Sundling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pajala Sunrise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Śląsk Bytom the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Gunnar Sundling got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Thomas Lundin fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Thomas Lundin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ulryk Miazga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Beau Bonnafoux hit a great ball. Daniel Hök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Miazga in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Carlo Monni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Hök saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pajala Sunrise's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo Rapone was slow to take the kick. During this time Śląsk Bytom's players had a chance to rest. In the 75thth minute of the game Ulryk Miazga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Daniel Hök managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Rapone fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gunnar Sundling hit a great ball. Pajala Sunrise's Gustaf Jönsson was substituted for Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille. 83 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Rapone came free, but Daniel Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Śląsk Bytom got a corner. Pajala Sunrise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo Rapone ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Gunnar Sundling was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Rapone in the 90th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Daniel Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hakkı Elçin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Śląsk Bytom's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
