After some careless play in the Macvanagu FC defense, Paulo Laurentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Gregersson. The Macvanagu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Gregersson should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Cura del Futbol's Paulo Laurentzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The supporters of Macvanagu FC booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Laurentzi got free with Henning Gregersson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Macvanagu FC's Henning Gregersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Laurentzi in the 31st minute of play. When Angelino Heli fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macvanagu FC's protests and gave Angelino Heli a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Macvanagu FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Heli. Paulo Laurentzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Gregersson having to make a save. Henning Gregersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Paulo Laurentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Macvanagu FC's Gilbert Piwowarski got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Laurentzi got free with Henning Gregersson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Costante hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Henning Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Paulo Laurentzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cura del Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Esiquio was the one to do the kick off. Henning Gregersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Laurentzi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Gregersson saved Macvanagu FC from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Macvanagu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Heli to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Paulo Laurentzi made a precise shot to the right of Henning Gregersson. Macvanagu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Henning Gregersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Laurentzi's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Hernan Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Cura del Futbol were the better team. Cura del Futbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
