Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Ivar Nordmo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Andone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ivar Nordmo came free, but Frank Lauria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Filiberto Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Turan Kantürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Ellande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Augusto Ellande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Turan Kantürk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Frank Lauria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ivar Nordmo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Daniele De Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goalkeeper Augusto Ellande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Turan Kantürk. Filiberto Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ivar Nordmo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Lauria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mercedes defense, Ahmet Turan Kantürk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Ellande. The Mercedes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Ellande should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Turan Kantürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Ellande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Turan Kantürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Turan Kantürk in the 38th minute of the match. Mercedes's Augusto Ellande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes from getting a goal against them. Albino Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Turan Kantürk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Turan Kantürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Ellande was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Turan Kantürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Mercedes's Augusto Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Turan Kantürk in the 61st minute of play. Augusto Ellande came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Champions Iasi's Ahmet Turan Kantürk. But to his dismay, Ahmet Turan Kantürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mercedes's Fermin Segio was substituted for Honorato Kauldi. Mercedes made a substitution. Anacleto Koldobika replaced Albino Feliu. In the 67th minute, Ahmet Turan Kantürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Ellande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 69th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Aldea to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Coporan to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Kantürk in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Frank Lauria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kubat Älibalalı. In the 78th minute Champions Iasi were awarded a corner. Ahmet Turan Kantürk went to the cornerflag to take it. Frank Lauria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Segio in the 79th minute of play. Frank Lauria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kubat Älibalalı in the 85th minute. Champions Iasi's Frank Lauria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Champions Iasi from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's Ahmet Turan Kantürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Ellande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ahmet Turan Kantürk came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Champions Iasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Turan Kantürk couldn't finish the play. Santo Rumaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Frank Lauria made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Champions Iasi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mercedes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
