Norberto Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikki Rodorf having to interfere. Ke Lang Fan struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ziemowit Wierzbicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stevnstrup. Ruperto Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Norberto Ciceron ran back to his position shaking his head. When Bruno Platon fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quijano FC's protests and gave Bruno Platon a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Hong Jian in the 45th minute of play forced Stevnstrup's goalkeeper Mikki Rodorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Valeca couldn't finish the play.
