Sydney Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Natanael Couto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Eger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute Pirajiba were awarded a corner. Natanael Couto went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos-Armando Valderrama got free with Cido Meireles in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cido Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 19th minute. Cido Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Abraão in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lei Hui Le ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cido Meireles was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Luiz Fabiano Abraão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Fabiano Abraão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cido Meireles was a little too slow when Lei Hui Le got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Moscardó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Zhen Kun was the one to do the kick off. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Carlos-Armando Valderrama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Abraão came free, but Cido Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajiba's zone, Shi Zhen Kun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Meireles came out of the goal and Shi Zhen Kun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Shi Zhen Kun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Pirajiba booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Carlos-Armando Valderrama got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Abraão in the 79th minute of play forced Pirajiba's goalkeeper Cido Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Hui Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pirajiba defense, Lei Hui Le kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Meireles. The Pirajiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Meireles should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Zhen Kun came free, but Cido Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Luiz Fabiano Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Abraão in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Hui Le came free, but Cido Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Zhen Kun in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that MAZER SAF were the better team. MAZER SAF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
